Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes

At HS we offer an Enhanced Diabetes Service delivered by a highly-trained team of doctors and nurses.

We offer annual diabetes reviews. We will contact you to arrange your annual diabetic health check around your birth month. Your results will be monitored and followed up accordingly.

Pre-Diabetes (Non-Diabetic Hyperglycaemia)

If you have a blood test and your results come back showing that you are in a pre-diabetic range, you will be contacted offering a referral to the National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP). You can also self-refer using this link Healthier You | NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme

All patients with pre-diabetes or a history of gestational diabetes will be offered annual screening
