Patient Triage: Smart Triage Questions

Smart Triage Questions (STQs) is an AI feature that helps gather more information from patients when they submit a Patient Triage request.

For example, if a patient submits a request about a rash but doesn’t mention how long they’ve had it, the AI might ask:

“When did the rash first start?”
“Is anyone else in your household affected?”

This feature will be in affect from 3pm today.

How it works

🔹A patient fills in their health problem description as normal in the Patient Triage form located on our website. Red ‘Get Help’ button.

🔹The AI model automatically generates up to five relevant follow-up questions, based on what the patient has written

🔹The patient answers the questions as part of the same form, before they submit their request

Additional Information

🔸AI does not have access to patient records, only what patients put on the form

🔸Patients can skip the AI questions entirely and the original form is unchanged

This new feature will assist GP’s in having more information on the initial request
