Mental Health Awareness Week 2026

Posted on May 11th, 2026

Mental Health Awareness Week 11th – 17th May 2026

The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is ‘Action‘ because, while awareness is vital, real change comes when we take action too. Even small actions make a big difference, and when we come together we can be a powerful force for change. Together, we’ve come a long way on mental health, but we can’t risk going backwards. There’s still much we can do to prevent people becoming unwell in the first place.

For more information on self-help, local signposting and practical tips on how you can take action for yourself, for someone else and for all of us, visit: Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 – Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust
