🌡️ HOT WEATHER ALERT: PLEASE TAKE CARE 🌡️
A Red Extreme Heat-Health Alert has been issued. Temperatures are expected to soar up to 40°C, posing a significant risk to health, infrastructure, and life. Please ensure you follow local safety advice to protect yourself and your loved ones:

💧 Hydrate frequently: Drink plenty of water and entirely avoid excessive alcohol.
☀️ The 11am–3pm Rule: Stay completely out of direct sunlight during these peak hours.
🏠 Keep spaces cool: Close your curtains and windows on rooms that face the sun.
👵 Check on others: Visit or call elderly relatives, vulnerable neighbours, or those living alone.
🐾 Protect pets: Walk dogs only in the early morning or late evening; never leave animals in cars.
🏊‍♂️ Water safety: Avoid entering open water to cool off due to the severe risk of cold water shock
